I received my Ph.D. degree from the ECE Department at University of California, Santa Barbara under the supervision of Professor Louise E. Moser and Professor Xifeng Yan. My research interests spread in the fields of large-scaled data mining, statistical machine learning, social network analysis, information extraction and information integration. I joined Google after graduation. Here is my new hompeage.

Paper entitled "Latent Association Analysis of Document Pairs." accepted by the 18th International Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD2012).
Paper entitled "Expertise Ranking Using Co-occurrence Relationships on the Web." accepted by IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering.
Paper entitled "Understanding Task-driven Information Flow in Collaborative Networks." accepted at the 21st World Wide Web conference.
Gengxin won the 2011-2012 IBM scholarship.
Gengxin received SIGKDD2010 student travel award.
Gengxin received UCSB doctral student travel grant. 
Gengxin is nominated for the 2010-2011 Dean's Fellowship. (Two nominees per department)
Gengxin is the winner of ECE Fellowship Award for her academic and research excellence for academic year 2008-2009.
